This coffee is sure to float your boat. Boat builders, millers, loggers, miners – colourful characters to be sure, shift-shaped the communities of Keewatin, Kenora and the surrounding Lake of the Woods region. A stone boat is actually a sledge for moving heavy objects and to this day in many parts of the world it is pulled by oxen or horses. Here on Lake of the Woods, the good ol’ days and life on the lake, is synonymous with J.W. Stone who founded the Stone Boat Company in 1896. At BROKEN PADDLE COFFEE, we take pride in our history and heritage, sharing our past in the present day with coffee lovers everywhere. Locally Roasted Coffee. Inspired by life at the lake. Ethically Sourced. Fair Trade. Organic. Roasted in Kenora Ontario Canada.
